Wheelchair Billiard Competition – 7th edition - Lions Club Bucharest Sportiv Mereu Impreuna Pentru Oameni

One day a year dedicated to billiards for the disabled! The Wheelchair Billiards Competition, organized by the Lions Club Spotiv mereu Impreuna Pentru Oameni, is unique of its kind in Romania! Everything started from a common goal and a noble goal at the same time, that of promoting sports and socialization among people with disabilities. We have now reached the 7th edition, time flies when you love what you do and we hope to organize this sports competition many years from now. We found with joy that, from year to year, the interest of the participants is increasing.​ On our list of priorities is the establishment of a center for motivational trainings and psychological counseling for people with locomotor disabilities caused by accidents. On the other hand, in the long term, we want that wheelchair billiards to become a Paralympic sport - we are the only promoters of this discipline in Romania!
